The pulpit is one of the most impressive parts of the church. It was built by Matthias Steinl in 1706. On the top of the pulpit there is a depiction of god father sitting on a globe. The picture on the backs shows Jesus and the dove is the symbol of the Holy Spirit. So the pulpit on the whole shows the Holy Trinity. Furthermore there are pictures of personifications of the Old and New Testament.
The woman on the right, holding the Ten Commandments represents the Old Testament. Her eyes are veiled as a symbol that the Old Testament is not the fullness of revelation. The woman on the left, holding the Gospel book is pointing at the Tabernacle. This should stand for the New Testament.
